The supply chain issue
It is in the name - despite that the consumer is the most important, he/she/they is still part of the "chain"
Conventional supply chain is aiming at getting the product to the consumer, however this puts more steps between the consumer and the source which adds cost and delay
The conventional supply chain is by design slow and dependent on how good each step is in transmitting the product and feeding the market info
If the consumer becomes in the heart of this cycle, the flow of ordering and flow of information will be much easier, some of the benefits are:
